Frequently asked questions
General
- The Find an Agent (FAA) Profile Manager combined with EMS, Manage My Agency, and Salesforce enable an agency administrator and/or agent/producer to easily update and manage the profiles that appear on the Find an Agent website. While it is preferred that the upstream data is updated, certain fields can only be updated via this system.
- Employees:
Employees have read-only access to all agency and agent data by default.
To edit agency records or approve agent profile change requests, as a territory manager for instance, navigate to myAccess and request to join the following AD group:
g-prod-agydist-ems-faa-admin
Non-Employees:
An agency must first be licensed with Safeco Now® by the office or territory manager.
Once licensed, a DPeC id is set up for that agency with admin access. This can then be used to set up login credentials for any agent associated with the agency.
Speak with your office or territory manager for assistance.
- Any agent who has access to Safeco Now® (Confidential, Non-confidential or Marketing security access) can complete an individual FAA profile. Agents without this access should submit a request to update their profile to any individual within their agency with Safeco Now Marketing access for review.
- There could be many different reasons why your agent/producer profile is not being loaded into our Find an Agent system. Please contact your Territory Manager for more information on how to fix the issue.
- You can preview your FAA profile from the FAA Profile Manager by selecting the 'Preview' button. The Find an Agent Website can be found at this address: https://insurance-agent.safeco.com.
- If Show Profile Yes is selected, it indicates that the public can view the profile and it will be returned in search results. All agency and agent/producer profiles are displayed by default. To hide a profile, select the Show Profile radio button. Only Marketing access users can hide profiles.
If Show Profile No is selected, it indicates that the profile is hidden - it will not be displayed in search results and the public cannot see it. To edit a hidden profile, click 'Edit Profile' on the Agency list page, make any updates, and then click Publish. The changes to the profile will be saved and viewable by the public. If you would like to hide the profile, only Marketing access users can hide profiles.
- Some agencies have multiple sub-stat codes residing at the same address. Hiding those redundant profiles will prevent them from showing up in the search results as duplicate listings. You may also hide a profile if you do not wish your agency to display in search results.
- Only Marketing access users can show/hide Find an Agent profiles. If you do not have Marketing access, contact your Agency's Safeco Now® Administrator to show/hide profiles.
- The percentage shown at the top of the profile page indicates the completeness of profile for this agency. One of the objectives for Find an Agent is to provide the customer with information that they need to make an informed decision when selecting an agent.
